Rosie Broughton says about 1300 people attended the event on Saturday afternoon and evening. That was way more people than we would had expected,'' Ms Broughton says. We thought between maybe 800 to 900 people but in the last 48 hours we sold 500 tickets.'' Music fans came from as far away as Auckland, Wellington and Manawatu to attend, she says. Among the acts were The Beat Girls, The Noodles and Masterton's own SKAper. Ms Broughton says next year's event would likely start earlier and therefore run longer.
